Qualifications
Smart Dental is seeking applicants that have completed a Dental Assisting Program and/or have one or more years of dental assisting experience.
In addition to a strong knowledge of dentistry, candidates must have outstanding customer service skills and time management skills. Qualified applicants must be able to effectively communicate with patients, doctor and other team members.
New graduates are welcome to apply. We will train highly motivated candidates who are new to the dental profession.
Job Responsibilities
This Dental Assistant job includes but is not limited to the following job responsibilities:
- Chair-side dental assisting
- Taking and processing dental x-rays
- Fabricating temporary crowns
- Room turn over & sterilization
- Impeccable infection-control
- Maintaining inventory/treatment rooms
- Basic administrative functions
- Ensuring patient comfort
- Providing post-operative instructions
- Digital scanning and digital planning
- Managing lab cases
- Assisting with dental hygiene department
